Borderless Teaching Community

I come from a family of educators and I have over 15 years in the educational classroom setting. I have taught in the grades K-College in the states of Georgia and Florida. I am a proud high school and college graduate of the great state of Georgia. I first attended East Georgia College and later transferred to Georgia Southern.  After graduation from  Georgia Southern University with a B.S in Justice Studies and minor in African Studies I ended up substituting for a elementary school one day and discovered the joy of working with children in small groups.

I later returned back to school to learn more about creating learning experiences and received my Masters degree in Instructional Design & Technology from Walden University. While I was home working on my degree, I started working with my daughter at home on her reading skills and started homeschooling her myself using the years of knowledge that I have acquired in the classroom. Over the years I have been able to teach several grade levels and acquired years of lesson plans that I have redesigned for the homeschooling setting and I would love to share those lesson with you as well!
